In the heart of the Cosón area, the villa blends contemporary tropical architecture with raw materials — wood, palm, stone. A living area fully open onto the pool, three soothing bedrooms, a walled garden scented with tropical flowers.
Three bedrooms for six guests, plus a sofa bed for two more — perfect for families and getaways with friends.
We could have built a villa like the ones going up everywhere. We chose to build a villa of this place — a hand-thatched palm roof, coral stone, locally worked wood: a Caribbean home, in the Caribbean.

Rent a quad for the day and climb into the hills behind Las Terrenas: coffee and cacao grow on the mountainsides, and family fincas still roast their beans over a wood fire, in the pot — tasting included, with sweeping views of the coast. On the way back, a swim at Playa Morón, a wild beach at the foot of the cliffs.

Yes, we recommend it. The villa is in Cosón: the beach is a 5-minute walk away, but the grocery store and the centre of Las Terrenas are a 5-minute drive. A vehicle — car, quad or scooter — makes daily life much easier, and becomes essential for exploring the peninsula: Playa Rincón, the El Limón waterfall, the coffee route. Renting a quad for the day is very popular in Las Terrenas. Otherwise, local taxis serve the area.
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with a shower — three in total — plus a powder room with a toilet for guests. Bedroom 2 also has its own private outdoor shower in the garden.
Yes — and we'd rather tell you ourselves: Cosón is the fastest-growing area of Las Terrenas, and new villas are being built nearby, including across the street. Work happens on weekdays during the day and on Saturday mornings — late afternoons, nights, Saturday afternoons and Sundays stay peaceful.
